Christmas in Uppingham Late Night Festive Shopping 2025.

4^th December 15.30 – 21.00 hrs.

Come and join us for a festive evening and lively atmosphere. Explore our independent retailers and Craft stalls in the Town Hall, High Street and Church displaying beautiful gifts and Christmas present ideas. A selection of food stalls in the Market Place and High Street is sure to entice you.

At 17.30pm, a very special and distinguished local guest, Matt Hampson OBE, will switch on the Christmas lights (be sure to visit him at the Matt Hampson Foundation Stall), followed on by the local primary school’s choir. During the evening special performances in the Market Place, High Street and the Parish Church, from a choir of carollers, a 40’s jazz singer and Brass Band, are sure to get you in the Christmas spirit.

• Snow Globe (outside The Town Hall). Step inside and become part of the snowy winter wonderland – free 

Mums and Dad’s, the magic of Christmas for the children:

• Children’s Victorian Carousel (Market Place) – free
• Tame Reindeer with their handlers (Crown passage)
• Storytime with Mrs Claus – IVY’S Magical Christmas Eve (Parish Church Hall) – free
• Santa in his Grotto £3.50 per visitor, and activities in the Parish Church

Enjoy music in The Falcon Hotel, and refreshments in The Vaults and Crown Hotel.
